How to find us

The Department of Ancient History and Epigraphy is located on the second floor of the Kollegiengebäude in the Heidelberg Marstall. The historic Marstall is situated right in the old town of Heidelberg, between Universitätsplatz (University Square) and the river Neckar.

Currently, due to ongoing construction work, access is only possible via the Marstall courtyard. Please use the external staircase or the elevator.

Public transit: Please use the Bus lines 29, 32, 33 or 36, exit at Marstallstraße station. The station is right outside the Marstall. Lines 32, 33 and 36 leave directly from Heidelberg main train station (Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof).

By car: There is no public parking at the department, but there are several public parking garages in the immediate vicinity.
